Monday Mornings

It started with a list, this list to be exact:

Today I began by creating a list of what photography assignments I had to do and what ones I had
already accomplished. There are twelve in total, three are complete and nine remain. Today I wanted
to do three of my "people pictures" or so I like to call them. One is a standard facial portrait. The
other two are supposed to display the human figure. I took my camera out for a walk and then
focused on the human figure. Yikes.

Thursday Lunch with Grandma

After having not seen my grandmother for several months we sat down and had the perfect lunch over pleasant conversation

 (English Cucumber)

(Blue Cheese, almonds, dried cherries, spinach, and balsamic vinaigrette)

(Trader Joe's warn pear tart)

(Black Tea to finish off the lunch)

The Click Through

The first two are blogs that inspired me throughout the years to create my own blog. They both center
around life and the home, fashion, food and decorating.  The third is a song I discuovered this
morning, though the whole album is worth listening to. The forth is for those who are clueless in the
kitchen, much like myself. And finally, the fifth, is a blog that generates daily writing prompts
to keep the mind sharp. How you enjoy them as much as I do.

Train Rides

(Been working on making those diner style pancakes)

(This is Frankie, my boyfriend, Erik's Grandmother's cat. Most cuddly cat ever. watch out though,
he drools)

Back into Boston, I wound up being more interested in the brick sidewalks and flowerbeds than the
architecture.

(Found Five bucks on the sidewalk AND a Heads Up penny)

My Brother's Baptism

Every Easter Sunday, except for one particularly cold, bitter morning, my church holds a sunrise service. Despite having to wake up at 5:30 in the morning and leave the comfort of my bed, I find the beach to hold a different kind of comfort. This morning was particularly special. My youngest brother was getting baptized in the frigid cold of the Sound (the Atlantic). This monumental moment brought tears to my eyes as I watched my brother dedicate his life to the most glorious purpose. I am a very proud and sentimental sister. We begin by gathering and singing as the sun paints our faces orange and pink and we paint with our praises.

This next set of photos I've called "The Redeemer's March," it is a set of black and whites that portray the linear events that occurred in my brother's baptism.
